Your new role
This is initially a 9 month Fixed Term Contract, to deliver a Project within the Global Distribution function. Significant opportunities for ongoing contract extension or transfer to permanent in due course.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a demonstrable track record of successful project delivery within distribution networks. Ideally you will be Prince 2 or PMI qualified, and any experience in highly regulated sectors (eg medical / pharma / aero / defence ...) is also an advantage. You will be familiar with Gantt charts and other project delivery tools and techniques, and be comfortable influencing stakeholders across multiple functions, driving collaborative efforts to ensure the right outcomes. You will be commercially aware, with strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to priorise effectively in a complex business environment. Experience of data analytics is also useful.

Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring that cash generation into the business is maximised and that Aged Debt is minimised each month. You will be required to ensure the customer accounts are managed efficiently and payments are received promptly.

• Resolve customer queries in a timely fashion
• Work effectively with other departments to ensure the highest levels of customer service are given at all times.
• Actively chase overdue customer accounts via letter and telephone
• Reduce shortfalls and ensure dunning and late payer process is followed
• Provide Sales Department with information on late payers and issues that may prevent trading
• Promote and focus on the company's direct debit facility, which must be operated to a high standard.
• Process and manage Direct Debit payments
• Process daily Direct Debit reports and files
• Post and allocate payments received into bank accordingly
• Carry out credit checks and risk management.

Your new role

• PA to the Senior Management team
• Diary management - assist with travel arrangements and expense reporting.
• Meeting preparation, taking minutes and actions, following up actions to completion - preparing reports and presentations.
• Event planning - corporate events, meetings and special events.
• Deal with front of house - meet & greet in a professional manner.
• Perform general office duties.
• Maintaining stock levels - PPE, workwear, stationery etc.
• Assist and monitor company fleet and schedule repairs
• Raising Purchase Orders for materials
• Quality, H&S and accreditation compliance
• Manage the holiday schedule, keeping track of everyone's time off

Working within the HR department and reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a vital role for the college in managing the end-to-end recruitment process (including safeguarding due diligence) to deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
