Your new roleHays Education are working with a great primary school based in Nottingham who are looking for a Site Manager. The position will be from Monday to Friday, as a split shift starting from 06:00 to 10:00 and then from 14:30 to 18:00 (17:30pm on Fridays). The role will be to start as soon as possible in either a temporary or permanent capacity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• General grounds and building maintenance
• Liaising with SLT and other members of staff
• Ensuring all legal and statutory certification is in place as directed by the law and best practice certification
• Minor repair work e.g. changing light bulbs
• Ensuring heating, lighting and alarm systems are working
• Responsibility of building keys - locking and unlocking as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in managing premises or maintenance, ideally is a school
• Possess an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Be reliable, resilient and hardworking

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrician to join a team working for a Leicester-based social housing association. The jobs would be allocated daily, across Nottinghamshire, where you are expected to complete reactive work for tenants.

Contract Type: Long term temporary contract with the potential to become permanent after 3 months

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out day-day electrical maintenance tasks within occupied homes.
• Undertake preventative works
• Tasks such as fault-finding, replacing sockets, etc.

What you'll need to succeed

• You must have relevant electrical qualifications including C&G Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2, 2391 inspection and testing
• Previous experience of working in occupied properties is essential.
• You will also require an in-date DBS, asbestos awareness and working at heights (which can be completed prior to starting).
