Job DescriptionLevel 2/3 Nursery PractitionerLunch Cover Role - Hours: 11:30 - 14:30Hourly Rate: £11.40-£12.75Our client offers a home-from-home environment; Each room has been designed to encourage curiosity and learning, they are all equipped with the necessary tools and their own secure garden. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care and early years education to children, holding a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years. You will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing and stimulating setting for children to grow and thrive.
To be considered for this position, you should have: - A Level 2 Early Years qualification or above
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner, demonstrating a strong understanding of the responsibilities and demands of the role
- Proficiency in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and a deep understanding of its principles and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- A commitment to providing diverse and inclusive learning experiences that cater to the individual needs of each child in our care

As a Level 2/3 Practitioner at our nursery, you will be responsible for: - Offering additional cover over the lunch period
- Completing general housekeeping duties
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that fosters exploration and creativity
- Building strong and positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and collaborative community
- Maintaining comprehensive records of children's development and well-being, ensuring all aspects of their care are thoroughly documented
