To log invoice and transit fines, complaints, stock uplifts/returns and claims in a timely manner, and to investigate or escalate to the correct team so that these matters can be authorised for settlement or rejected. And to subsequently prepare credit note documentation or to communicate back to the customers any justifiably disputed claims. To escalate any potential delays or risks to order processing or related to fines, complaints etc. to the appropriate person/team within the business. To work with the Credit Controller to manage accounts receivable, checking invoices are paid in accordance with agreed terms, ensuring that any delays to invoice payment are raised with the appropriate contact and resolution is achieved.

• Support Managers on all ER issues and caseload

Working hours are 40 / week: 8.30am-5pm, Monday-Friday. This is a remote role with frequent travel to UK sites in the North and the Midlands, to the South East and South West. Your average week will see you WFH 3 days vs 2 days visiting sites.

What you'll need to succeed

This role requires a highly professional person with an analytical approach to HR, who has the ability to build long-term relationships and positively influence managers and colleagues across multiple UK sites.

A resilient individual with a proactive, "can do" attitude is important, as is a CIPD qualification (Level 5) minimum with experience in a multi-site HR or People Advisor / BP role.
You must have demonstrable experience managing complex ER casework to support and advise managers up to and including ACAS conciliation and tribunal claims. Some understanding of TUPE processes is required too.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will undergo industry-related and recruitment-specific training that is tailored to your level of entry. Overview:

A leading technology company require an experienced Cable Assembler / Solderer to assist with the assembly of their products.

This is a long term contract role with overtime regularly available.

Cable Assembler Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Cable Assembler in an electronics assembly environment, with extensive hand soldering.


• Ideally you will be trained to IPC-610 IPC-620 or J-Std, but this is not essential


• Excellent cable cutting, stripping, terminating and soldering experience


• Must be capable of wiring and general assembly


• ESD awareness and understanding is also a bonus, as is any ISO standard experience (19001)


• Must possess a good understanding of engineering drawings and be able to assemble products accordingly


• Must possess a basic knowledge of electronic components


• Excellent fine motor skills


• Good hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail and eyesight is essential

Cable Assembler Responsibilities:

• To solder and assemble cable products as requested


• Follow engineering diagrams and pick up on errors where applicable


• To be responsible for the quality of your production and assembly output.


• To report to the Production Supervisor / Line Manager on potential problems in the production process, any shortages / delays and additional requirements as they arise.


• To liaise with the Production Supervisor on current Production targets, schedules and workload.


• To alert the Production Supervisor as to any procedural changes.
