Hays Construction & Property is working in partnership with a maintenance contractor in Kent and is seeking an experienced Maintenance Multi-Trader. Having recently taken on additional contracts, they need to bolster and expand their maintenance team.

About the Role
Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs covering the whole of Kent, you'll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work to include plumbing, carpentry and electrical in the public sector. You'll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with the best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.

About You
Candidates will hold a City & Guilds qualification and have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety. Customers focused on experience of working in the public sector. We are looking for someone who has a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, for the first time. Punctual, reliable and comfortable operating small hand-held plants such as drills and breakers.

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

Having recently taken on additional contracts they need to expand their maintenance team within the Kent and London area. You must be friendly, motivated, reliable and a hard-working individual, with a proven track record of working on similar projects within a similar industry sector.

You will have extensive knowledge, experience and qualifications in Electrical maintenance. You must also have a full clean UK driving licence.

Electrician will complete reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance across Domestic area's in the Kent and London region.

We are seeking an experienced Export Controller & Marcoms Lead to join our clients well- established manufacturing company based in Sandwich, Kent.

This is a fixed term contract for approx. 9-12 months. This position is subject to SC security level clearance, to obtain this you must have lived in the UK for 5 years or more. A valid passport & driving licence is essential to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Controller:

1. Export Licensing: Handle all aspects of export control, ensuring that company orders and activities follow proper export control policies and licensing requirements.
2. Compliance: Work closely with internal teams and external authorities to maintain compliance with export regulations.
3. Customer Orders & Quotes: Manage customer orders and respond to requests for quotes (RFQs), as well as provide updates on order statuses and delivery schedules.

Coordination with Other Departments: Work with various teams (Sales, Operations) to ensure smooth processing of orders and timely deliveries

Marketing Communications (MARCOM) Lead:

1. Website & Social Media Management: Keep the company website and social media updated with the latest content about the company's products, activities, and events.
2. Marketing Materials: Ensure that brochures, data sheets, and presentations are current and available.
3. Event Management: Coordinate and prepare for events, exhibitions, and demonstrations, including managing the calendar, bookings, and briefings.
4. Demo Equipment: Oversee demo equipment-ensuring it's well-maintained and ready for demonstrations and events.
5. Internal & External Communication: Promote the company and its activities both inside the company and externally.

Security Support:

1. International Visits: Manage the approval process for international visitors to the company, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
2. Record Keeping & Security Projects: Maintain records for international visits and assist in security-related projects and improvements.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: A background in business, marketing, or related fields (degree or equivalent).
• Experience: Prior experience in customer service or marketing communications is ideal. Experience with export control is a plus but not essential.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, good with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word), detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Other Requirements: A valid passport (for potential international travel) and driving license. You also need to be eligible for security clearance.
