Senior Practitioner Sensory Services - Community Resource Team
Job description
37 hours per week
Following a review of staff structures within the Sensory and Community Occupational Therapy teams we have created a Senior Practitioner post.
We are seeking an individual with a high-level specialist knowledge within Sensory Rehabilitation to support the Integrated Specialist Assessment Manager and the Sensory Team.
You will be expected to use leadership skills to assist the Sensory Team to achieve Team, Service, and Organisational objectives as a collective, you will monitor quality and performance to ensure individuals receiving services have a high-quality experience. You will ensure the service remains person centred, outcome focused and aligned to service users / citizen directed aspirations.
You will seek to further develop links with the third sector and individuals to further develop person centred approaches.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
