Your new role
As Global Technical and Quality Director you will lead an international team in the delivery of key strategies to deliver business objectives, meeting and exceeding customer expectations in food, and non-food, categories. You will continue the development of appropriate KPIs to understand performance in all relevant areas, and drive improvements through technical product innovation, compliance, and due diligence. You will lead and support all R&D projects, bringing market disrupting products and technologies into NPD pipeline, while also enhancing sustainability initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be proven in a similar leadership position, with strategic responsibilities for technical innovation, manufacturing compliance, human rights due diligence, and sustainability. You will be highly commercially aware with the ability to support commercial business objectives and performance, within an entrepreneurial and fast-moving business. Experience of FMCG products (ideally both food, and non-food), and working with high-street retailers and international suppliers (ideally including Asia) is a distinct advantage. Your new role
As the new Project Lead, you'll be responsible for liaising with the client on all aspects of the project, working alongside the client to understand their goals and aspirations. You will also be responsible for monitoring the successful delivery of the project, with financial performance and client satisfaction. In addition to the above, you will ensure compliance, aid coordination between members of the design team and appoint specialists and conduct project presentations.


What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a diverse range of skills and experience, from building surveying, engineering, architecture, or design management, and would be interested in developing your career in a transformative direction. Preferably, you will be based in Cambridgeshire or London with a track record of project management and delivery of varying scales. You will be passionate about working together with clients and demonstrate a proactive and solution-based approach. It is likely you will be degree qualified, or equivalent, in a relevant industry discipline.

Partnering with the CEO directly and acting as a key part of the Operational Board, you will be instrumental in extending the already substantial customer portfolio and scenario planning for the launch of additional products to market. • Leading a small finance Team and growing, developing members of the function and continuing to grow both capacity and develop efficiency, whilst applying a hands-on approach and leading from the front.
• Provide sound and insightful financial analysis to support growth and create better understanding of business performance from end to end.
• As part of an operational Board who have not experienced series of transactions, experience and guidance in this area to the leadership team will be greatly valued.
• Provide full strategic support for future lending and investment opportunities, partnering with the CEO.
• Contribute as a key member of a complex Board structure, including shareholders and private equity investors.
• Develop a robust and workable cash management policy in order to facilitate growth and maintain the value of the business.
• Act as key figurehead for the business during the point of any future transactions, invoking strong negotiation skills.
• Support the CEO and Leadership Team in commercial decision making, working through regulatory matters and ensuring there is efficient processes to deliver strategic goals.
