Your new role
Your new role is a key and high profile role combining both leadership and business partnering. You'll be managing an ambitious team of finance business partners, taking a lead in their training and development whilst working alongside Operations Managers and Operations Directors to ensure the success of the projects they are working. As a financial expert, you'll be spotting risks/opportunities and managing change - All projects are high profile, so you'll be highly visible to the Exec team on a day to day. You'll also oversee the budgets and forecasts. In addition to the core of the role, you'll also be involved in the change and systems projects. This is a unique role with plenty of scope to develop.

What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and extensive business partnering experience, it is essential you have recent and up-to-date experience working within manufacturing finance as you'll be heavily involved in costings. Whilst leadership experience is helpful - if you have the other skills and have a passion for managing, it would be great to hear from you!

Your new role
Reporting into the MD, your role will see you take responsibility for overseeing the finance department on a day to day basis. You'll lead a close knit and experienced transactional team who deliver all transactional processing and credit control. You'll then review the TB's and ensure a high quality delivery of monthly management accounts for board review. At year end, you'll work closely with the auditors to deliver the statutory / annual accounts. Alongside the more traditional accounting activities you would normally see in SME, you'll provide business partnering support to manage costs and drive revenue/business performance. What you'll need to succeed

Your new role
You will

• Manage a portfolio of circa 120 clients
• Clients range from simple company director returns through to sizeable investment portfolios, partnerships and trusts.
• Provide advice to clients as needed across various facets including, pension planning, EIS, VCTs, IHT, CGT and some VAT work as needed
• Complete compliance duties on time and within deadlines
• Be the main point of contact for your portfolio to answer ad hoc queries and to request information as you need it.
• Clients range from simple company director returns through to sizeable investment portfolios, partnerships and trusts.
• Become a trusted member of the team and develop your skills to further your career with progression planning opportunities available
• This will provide an increased scope for your role leading to you assisting the Tax Partner with personal and corporate tax advice and planning, including private company restructuring and sale, share schemes, corporate finance and due diligence.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be either ATT or CTA qualified or be qualified by experience. You will have gained experience with managing client relationships, answering queries from clients and general personal tax compliance.


What you'll get in return
