We have an exciting opportunity in the Workforce Rostering team for a full-time HR Systems Senior Support Officer whose main function will be to provide support to assigned workstreams as identified through the workforce programme plan.
With the support of the assigned system lead, you will drive forward key workstreams enabling the development of project support skills ranging from process mapping, data gathering, configuration through to completion and handover.
You will be working autonomously on various key workstreams alongside supporting the daily operation of the workforce rostering systems which the team are responsible for.
The Workforce Rostering team are located within the Workforce Systems Department.
Workforce ESR and Workforce Reporting & Data Quality are the other two teams who make up this department.
The department work to the Trust Flexi Policy and we also support blended working between home and office base which is Cobalt.
In addition to the overview the other main duties & responsibilities are:
• To provide administrative and technical support to the HR Systems Leads for the day to day operation and maintenance of the Trust’s HR Systems (e.g. ESR, Optima etc) and in particular the Data Quality and ESR Improvement Projects.
• To assist the Team Manager/Leads in the development, preparation and implementation of the overall project workplans, working autonomously on various key workstreams within named projects.
• To assist the Team Manager in providing governance around the quality and content of the data held within the HR Systems, providing advice and guidance on work structures and policies.
• To provide accurate documentation, reports and audits where necessary.
• The post holder will have specialist advanced knowledge of HR Systems which will allow them to work autonomously in order to resolve day to day system issues and provide advice and guidance to end users.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. Inclusive of the above, some additional duties are:
• The post holder will use their specialist advanced knowledge of the HR Systems to provide training to colleagues and end users to ensure data quality standards are adhered to which in turn will support good governance of the HR Systems going forward.
• Have an active role all Project Meetings and be responsible for the recording and circulation of the meeting minutes.
• Work with the HR Systems Leads to assist in project planning and ensure the project workplans are kept up to date as the projects develop
