This is a full-time permanent position based in Brighton and working across other local sites, so you will need a valid UK car driving licence. The Telesales Executive will be responsible for booking prospect meetings and supporting in developing the business relationship moving forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Telesales Executive your key duties will include:
•Outbound calling to cold leads to generate new business appointments for the Sales Managers
•Working to high volume call and duration targets
•Building productive and trusting relationships with prospects
•Managing and maintaining lead referrals through the Sales Pipeline
•Working closely with the marketing team to follow up on warm leads

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role of Telesales Executive, you must have:
•Previous outbound calling experience, ideally within a B2B environment
•Experience within a customer service environment
•Educated to GCSE level with passes in Maths & English as a minimum
•Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both written and verbal
•Strong objection handling skills

Your new role
Below is a list of the day-to-day duties for this position -

• Provide excellent telemarketing to generate new business appointments
• Handling high volume calls and targets
• Building and maintaining long lasting relationships
• Qualification of inbound telephone and digital enquiries and covering into sales leads
• Building and maintaining the database / CRM platform
• Co-ordinate new business meetings with Sales Directors
• Manage and maintain lead referrals through the sales pipeline
• Working with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous sales experience handling outbound telephone calls and business to business telesales experience. You will have experience using a CRM system and have the ability to demonstrate telephone sales techniques. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience working within a customer service environment. The ability to build and maintain relationships and working with high level decision makers is key.

What you'll get in return
This role is paying between £25,000 - £27,000 dependent on experience. You will work Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. What you\'ll need to succeed

• A degree in ecology or related field
• A MSc or PhD in a relevant subject would be highly beneficial
• Experience in a range of ecological surveys, including habitat surveys or protected species surveys
• Experience in producing high quality technical outputs
• A valid UK driving licence
• Natural England survey licence holder for at least two species/groups (desired)
• Membership/Chartership within CIEEM (desired)
