THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle recruiting processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates and Hiring Managers in a timely manner.
• Work on optimisation of recruiting processes and practices— you will run point on improving the recruiting experience in areas relating to your expertise and interest.
• Create job descriptions, role profiles, and offer packages based on the position and company requirements.
• Manage Globant’s Applicant Tracking System; this includes candidate maintenance, scheduling interviews, monitoring interviewer feedback, initiating the offer process, etc.
• Source passive talent for current open roles and build talent pipelines for future challenging, hard to close recurring roles across the APAC.
• Research various talent markets, identifying talent demographics/shifts.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our internal team in Cebu. Your mission is to support the recruitment team in filling up open roles within the specified timeframe. The role will report directly to the Business Development Director.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Undertake candidate research through social media mediums and talent database in job platforms;
• Identify and shortlist candidates that best meet the role requirements and are able to start within the timeframe;
• Building networks and talent pools of future talent and job roles;
• Use tools including LinkedIn, Vincere, Lusha, SEEK, Google Boolean Search etc. for candidate identification and engagement;
• Proactively introduce relevant candidates to clients;
• Take candidate references as and when required;
• Communicate with clients, understanding their requirements, develop a strategy on how best to meet the demand, and update status on time;
• Develop and implement recruitment processes and provide new improvement ideas.

Do you have what we are looking for:

• Excellent communication in English both written and verbal;
• At least 5+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience for Australian and US clients;
• Experience coaching/leading a recruiting team;
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
• Bachelor degree or higher in relevant field;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player;
• High attention to detail;
• Excellent computer skills and ability to pick up new systems with ease;

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work within existing development team and master existing code base
• Assist implementation of complex features in each build
• Maintain ownership of projects assigned
• Work on large projects that span multiple build cycles
• Follow and enhance existing development processes
• Work closely with engineering/IT to ensure efficient and stable builds
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Identify, document and communicate technical issues and risks across teams

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3 - 8 years of professional development experience with Java software development
• 2+ years working experience with Spring & Hibernate frameworks in a production environment
• Strong relational database knowledge & experience working directly with SQL and persistence technologies such as Hibernate
• Solid knowledge of web technologies and Java application servers, in a high availability cluster configuration
• Experience in AWS / Azure
• Solid understanding and experience with git
• Self-motivated, well-organized and detail oriented
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with foreign counterparts

Advantageous or Nice to haves:

• Google Cloud using containers such as Kubernetes or Docker
• Working knowledge or experience using Node.js and caching technologies (ehcache, memcache, redis)
