Working Foreman (Carpentry)

Duties:
Key activities to include:
A variety of carpentry repairs in occupied and unoccupied residential properties, corporate and civic buildings including; first and second fix carpentry, door hanging (including fire doors) and DFG adaptations, installation of kitchen furniture, tiling and basic plumbing works associated with kitchen installation,
Supporting the contract in the site management of quoted/ project works, carrying out operative observations in both health and safety and quality standards, conducting equipment checks to ensure compliance, working alongside supervisors to assist with, quotations, progress checks and materials sourcing.
Experience:
Must have at least 5 years trade experience, including managing delivery of maintenance repairs and planned works and a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry.
Experience in UPVC maintenance and repair, kitchen and bathroom installations or fire door installations an advantage.
Must be competent in at least 2 other secondary trade skills
Must have full driver’s licence.
Must have a good level of computer literacy, preferably MS Office, including Outlook.
This role will be subject to a DBS clearance.
Salary: £35,432.00 per annum plus call out premium, company vehicle and fuel card, plus benefits
