The role will be based at Greenway Primary School which hosts a Flying Start service on site and has extensive grounds to support outdoor learning opportunities. Greenway’s new Specialist Resource Bases (SRB) will support children from across Cardiff with complex needs, including social communication difficulties. We will have two resource bases within the main school building and the successful candidates will have the opportunity to assist in setting up the bases and launch the new classes. We want the new SRB provision to be an extension of our, already strong, approach to inclusion and to feel very much part of our school family.
Children in our resource base will receive a specialist curriculum to support their individual needs and a sensory based approach focused on development rather than age. The successful post holders will be responsible for supporting the specialist class teachers and address the needs of individual pupils, supporting them to overcome barriers to learning and demonstrate a commitment to the inclusion of every child and ensuring that all pupils have equal opportunities to access a broad and balanced curriculum. The post would suit teaching assistants with experience of working with pupils with additional learning needs in either a mainstream primary or specialist setting. Retail Stocktaker/Car Share Driver + Company Car Provided

Salary: £12.89 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£11.50 per hour + £1.39 holiday pay) + £15 shift bonus when taking 1 passenger

The Role

• We are looking for a Retail Stock Counter and driver to add to our already successful team as part of a car share team.
• Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Sunday to Thursday
• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
• You must have a full Driving License or be able to make your own way to and from sites using public transport.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

• Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. All travel is provided on the minibus.
