The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our talented team from September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching journey in a supportive and forward-thinking school.
As an ECT, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons: Create a stimulating and positive learning environment that caters to the needs of all pupils.
• Assess and track pupil progress: Use a range of assessment tools to monitor and evaluate pupil achievement, providing feedback and support where needed.
• Support individual learning needs: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of our pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Collaborate with colleagues: Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and school leaders to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
• Engage with parents and carers: Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in the learning process.
• Commit to professional development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to continually improve your teaching practice.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must have successfully completed your Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and achieved QTS by the start date.
• Passion for teaching: A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
• Strong communication skills: The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Resilience and adaptability: The ability to remain flexible and positive in a dynamic school environment.
