Westray are happy to announce our client is looking for a Business Unit Administrator, our client is a dynamic and customer-focused organisation committed to providing exceptional service. The Business Unit Administrator role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities vital to the company's operations. From managing enquiries and project files to customer liaison and cost calculations, the position involves a comprehensive range of tasks. Additionally, the role requires active involvement in the introduction of new processes, reflecting the company's commitment to innovation and improvement.
THE ROLE
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Enquiry Management, customer liaison
- Project Files Creation/Maintenance
- Customer Drawings/BIU Planogram/My Property Administration
- Costing and price calculations from pricelists (within procedure)
- Compiling and issuing quotations, price authorisation
- Clarification of quotations to terms and conditions
- Order review and order acceptance
- Customer Equipment Specification Administration
- Sales Order Processing / Confirmations
- Project Snagging/Extras Administration/Coordination
- Initiative/Rollout Administration
- MFG Pro System Administration
- Sales & Operations Plans Administration
- Invoicing (within procedure)
- To take an active part in the introductions of new processes and working tools within the Department
- Undertake additional duties as requested by the Commercial Office Manager
THE PERSON
To be considered for this role, applicants should exhibit a strong work ethic, an ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, and a keen eagerness to acquire new skills. Proficiency in Microsoft packages, particularly Excel and effective communication skills are also essential.
Experience in administrative or similar roles is viewed as advantageous. The ideal candidate for the Business Unit Administrator position should have a background in administration, contributing to their proficiency in handling the diverse responsibilities outlined in the role description.
Moreover, emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the role. Candidates with a retail background will be given consideration. Observance to processes, attention to detail and proficiency in Excel functions such as VLOOKUPs and formulas, along with the ability to complete sales forecasts, are deemed essential for success in this role.
