JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for handling HR administrative tasks for the Human Resources department

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide secretarial support to VP (HR/Admin).
• Verify and approve claims via the Workday system for Singapore employees.
• Consolidate staff reimbursement for bank credit.
• Provide admin support:
• Update of expenses incurred for fruits and drinks and any other events
• Update of 3RP points
• Produce visa letters.
• Admin support for projects
• Any other admin duties as assigned.

1) HR and Administration duty.

a) Payroll processing; including salary, bonus, expense claim computation and processing, CPF submission, SDF computation, payment process…etc.

b) HR administration including of keeping track of attendance, leave, employee records…etc.

c) Administration and enrolment of staffs insurance .

d) Work permit application and have a good understanding of MOM policy.

e) In process and out process documentation and ensure a proper execution of HR policy.

f) Payable and Accounts Receivable not limiting to invoice processing.etc.

2) Strategy duties

a) Assist in staff’s performance evaluation administration.

b) Involved in resources management, on-going recruitment through advertisement and working closely with education institution.

c) Develop a recruitment and talent development strategic in line with Pulley Ascent Business requirements.

Job Requirements:

1) At least 1 year work experience of related job scope

2) Diploma / higher NITEC

3) Basic Accounting Knowledge

4) Good working knowledge of MS office not limiting to Excel, Word.

Blackstone is seeking a detail-oriented communications professional to spearhead the development of internal communications within the Human Resources department and manage all internal communication initiatives for the team. This individual will collaborate closely with HR stakeholders and the Public Affairs team to develop and implement a comprehensive global employee communications strategy, enhancing internal connection and engagement among our employees.

Key Responsibilities - HR Operational Communications; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Communications & Content; HR Team Communications; Firm Culture Content.

• Act as the primary liaison for the group in managing cyclical communications to employees on both a global and local scale

• Develop a comprehensive plan and accompanying materials to foster/drive engagement with the Talent Development curriculum, promoting the firm's commitment at every stage of employees' careers

• Serve as the primary partner to the DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) team, informing execution of the multi-channel DEI communications strategy to drive our narrative

• Own execution of DEI newsletters and support communications for our Employee Resource Groups

• Partner with the HR Leadership Team to develop and execute effective communications strategies and a calendar for communications to ensure alignment with business and talent objectives

• Partner with Public Affairs to support executive communications for Chief Human Resources Officer, Global Head of DEI and other leaders, including town halls or other speaking engagements, written and video messages, and media opportunities

• Revamp the firm’s approach to Benefits and Compensation communications, bringing creativity, clarity, and consistency into our promotional efforts for offerings and internal programs. Drive enhanced ROI across the firm's full benefits suite through strategic communication initiatives

• Partner with Public Affairs and HR partners to lead and execute content development for related Blackstone.com pages

• Manage the HR and DEI intranet pages, ensuring that all content is up to date to facilitate clear communication of processes and procedures, develop & execute a calendar for communications

• Partner with Public Affairs team to develop culture and inclusion content for intranet (i.e., employee spotlights, event recaps, etc.)

• Identify avenues for external storytelling to bolster brand reputation and recruitment efforts

• Provide presentation assistance for internal meetings, external engagements, and ad hoc initiatives; assist in creating talking points as needed

• Track and report on readership, engagement, and business results in partnership with HR Partners and Corporate Affairs

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess robust storytelling, messaging, and internal communications skills, along with the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively.

• 8+ years of internal communications experience, particularly in the HR space

• Experience or demonstrated interest in cultivating a culture of inclusion and belonging

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven storyteller capable of creating compelling narratives and simplifying complex processes for clearer understanding

• Demonstrated track record of conducting successful and proactive communications programs that employ creativity and use a variety of tools, forums and media

• Strong content-production and technology skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint), intranet and content-management systems, email distribution tools

• Strong project management and planning, with keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively; demonstrates proactivity, speed to completion, and performs well against competing deadlines

• Demonstrates sound judgment and possesses the ability to provide advice on sensitive and nuanced scenarios, particularly within the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion

• Strategic mindset to integrate business strategy into all communications

• Ability to leverage data and analytics for effective storytelling

• Upholds trust and ethical standards in handling sensitive, people-related data

• Preferred: Proficiency in employer branding, demonstrated by securing coverage or thought leadership opportunities to effectively convey a firm's employee experience narrative

• Preferred: Experience and knowledge of financial services industry

Job Description:        

The Human Resources Analyst will join a nimble team of HR Business Partners covering the Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) platform to enhance operations and effectiveness across a broad variety of HR initiatives and processes.  This role will help drive strategic business and talent objectives forward by preparing, analyzing, and advancing work across the HR life cycle.  The HR Business Partners operate in close partnership with the business to drive forward the talent agenda, which will afford the Analyst with ample visibility and learning opportunities.  Additionally, the team works in seamless collaboration with the HR specialist functions, Centers of Excellence, to build out differentiated global solutions to advance our talent attraction, development, engagement, and retention efforts and track our success.     

This role will provide an excellent opportunity for broad-based experience with best-in-class approaches to engaging, managing, and developing our human capital.  Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:             

• Preparing materials and source data to enable Talent Assessment, Development, Performance, and Promotion processes

• Shaping, monitoring, and tracking ongoing talent development initiatives

• Analyzing and digesting data, including but not limited to, diversity & inclusion, organizational development, and performance management, to promote data-driven decision making that will help the team establish new initiatives

• Partner with the HR Business Partners and Recruitment team to facilitate a streamlined recruitment process and candidate experience by reviewing job descriptions and interview slates, managing feedback trackers, and more

• Work in partnership with onboarding leads to manage the new hire onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration

• Prepare documentation to track personnel changes, including relocation, transfer, on- and offboarding, work authorization, etc.

• Actively participate in the employee performance management process by guiding managers and compiling detailed feedback

• Collaborate with the business to deliver engagement initiatives including social and community impact events, mentorship programs, and training programs

• Partner with Business Partners on many more exciting ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

Job Description:

This role will report to the Senior Vice President in Employee Relations and will be responsible for providing advice and expertise to managers and HR Business Partners with a focus on performance management, risk assessments and mitigation, firm culture, and employee transition out of the firm.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Work closely with employees to understand the criteria for success.

• Educate and advise managers to provide clear expectations and feedback.

• Coordinate with managers to develop performance improvement plans, and work closely with manager and employee to provide support, direction, and clear communication throughout the process.

• Investigate potential violation of policies and monitor and address employee behavior throughout the firm; ensure consistent and fair approach firmwide.

• Partner with ER team, business managers, HRBPs to provide resolutions for escalated or complex issues and concerns.

• Work with the ER team to facilitate training for managers and employees.

• Partner with the Benefits Team to navigate sensitive employee issues including accommodation/leave requests.

• Communicate and ensure employee understanding of relevant employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies and answer non-standard questions by managers and employees as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of applicable HR related experience, preferably with a focus on Employee Relations

• Knowledge of employment laws

• Ability to resolve conflicts and diffuse employee related issues, concerns, situations

• Ability to quickly evaluate options and alternatives to decide on a plan of action

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
