We have exciting Full time & Part time opportunities for enthusiastic and innovative Lecturers in Health & Social Care to join our diverse, innovate team based at the brand-new City Hub campus.

You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both learners and colleagues, with an imaginative approach to teaching that generates creative lessons to fully engage and inspire 16-18 and 19+ students on courses ranging from L1 through to HE.

Experience in the following would be desirable:

· Working within the health and social care sector
· Experience of teaching CACHE/NCFE
· Working in the NHS with the ability to teach anatomy and physiology
· Sociology/Psychology teaching experience
The post will be shortlisted against the essential and desirable criteria at application stage from the person specification. The successful candidate will also have passion, drive, determination and vision that shine through to create outstanding learning opportunities. They will have excellent communication skills, have empathy, understanding and the ability to inspire and engage young people to excel and achieve their learning goals. The roles will also include additional duties such as pastoral support, progress monitoring and report writing.

We have an exciting opportunity for Sales Relationship Manager role to join our team on fixed term basis for 12 months.

The successful candidate will be an ambassador for training and skills and the impact this makes to businesses, the economy, and individuals’ occupational opportunities by providing the employer engagement officer with the support they need to providing employers with outstanding service.

Day to day duties will include but not limited to:

Work with the employer engagement officers to provide account management and sales support to key stakeholders and employers, to assist in the planning of their workforce recruitment and training needs.
Maintain a current understanding of funding methodology in order to promote and sell all products and services of the college, regardless of funding source.
Develop highly effective links with employers and work closely with the employer engagement and recruitment coordination team to ensure commitments to training are fulfilled, and employer satisfaction is high.
Provide reports on activity including recruitment figures and performance against target to key customers and stakeholders and management.
Support employment engagement officers in attendance at employer and vocationally specific networking activities to increase the colleges market share.
Maintain a detailed knowledge of relevant work-based training subjects and levels offered by the College and articulate the benefits of apprenticeships and commercial training to via a consultative selling approach to employers.
Research LMI (Labour Market Information) and employers’ background, KPIs and their development plans to inform face-to-face and online meetings and complete documented training needs analysis
Monitor bid portals to identify new commercial opportunities for the college and contribute to tenders and funding bids for the subjects in your vocational area.
Maintain a detailed understanding of the skills provision landscape locally and nationally to identify opportunities for growth, supporting the College to develop and advance products and services
Carry out general sales support functions, such as follow up sales calls.
Travel to meet employers and candidates and be flexible in approach to work and adjust working patterns to suit business needs.
Generate new relationships with employers for the College in current and future markets leading to increased apprenticeship vacancy and work experience opportunities.
Promote employer and curriculum engagement to ensure an outstanding experience for all learners and to ensure our offer is fit for purpose for the industry.
Provide employers with an exceptional customer service, advice and guidance and secure repeat business.
Contribute to the forecasting and profiling of learning provision by submitting understanding of emerging, developing and declining workforce training needs.
Influence the design of curriculum and enhance the responsiveness to current and future employers’ workforce needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a current motorcycle technician to make a career change or a former industry professional to return to their passion, by moving into teaching, sharing their knowledge and experience with the industry professionals of tomorrow.

The key roles of our Lecturers are:

· To bring your passion, knowledge and experience of the industry as well as your creativity to the teaching of both practical and theory sessions to L1 and L2 learners in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repairs.

· To work as part of our wider team to support the planning, development and implementation of new courses and qualifications as we continue to provide the local Automotive employers with their future employees.

· To work within the college quality framework to deliver education and training to high standards along with preparing student materials, assessing and marking student work and carrying out student assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.

Actively contact potential customers and sales leads in order to maximise sales where possible.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity working 35 hours per week, Thursday to Monday -including weekends.

The ideal candidate

To be successful as our Trainee Sales Advisor, you will have the ability to provide a first-class customer service. Excellent communication skills are key to success within this role, ensuring you fully understand our customers and listen to their needs.
