- Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the APF Civilian Personnel Section Staffing and Employee Management Relations ensuring Recruitment and Placement complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- Represents APF Civilian Personnel Section Staffing and Employee Management Relations with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for personnel programs to ensure operations are in line with regulatory and fiscal requirements, support goals, and mission requirements.
- Administers appointing and associated authorities on behalf of the Flight Chief and Commander for appropriated fund federal civil service personnel at an Air Force (AF) installation.
