Working Conditions/Effort

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be providing a medicines management service to patients within the prison with the professional support of a prison service pharmacist. You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary. There will also be elements of stock control involved in your role, such as undertaking stock top-up services and reviewing expiry dates and storage facilities for all medicines, reporting any deficiencies to the prison service pharmacist.

The Laboratory Medicine department has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The post holder will be working within Haematology, Clinical Biochemistry and Specimen Reception. The post holder will contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of patients within the hospital by providing technical, scientific and data entry assistance to the Biomedical Scientists and other Departmental staff. The post holder will take part in the shift rota which which includes weekend and night shifts.

The working pattern in this role is rota based. Therefore your contracted hours of 37.5 per week (full time working equivalent) will be calculated across a rota period of 13 weeks in accordance with agenda for change. Dependant on the needs of the service, your total working hours will fluctuate due to the different length of time of the shifts, however as part of rota management your shifts will balance to be within your contracted time.

Registered General Nurse RGN - Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home located in Stanton Drew near Chew Magna BS39 4ER, Part of The Country Court Family
Hours: Days 37.5 Hours per week, With flexibility to work nights if needed , working weekends on rota (Shift Times 7am – 7.30pm (7pm – 7.30am if on nights))
We are looking for a proactive, passionate, and ambitious Nurse (RGN) with a valid PIN, to support us in creating the best person-centred environment for our residents at our beautiful home, Stanton Court in Stanton Drew.
Stanton Court is a specialist Nursing & Residential Home located in the small village of Stanton Drew about 8 miles south of Bristol & Bath. Our dedicated team led by Wendy our Home Manager creates a real home-from-home, family atmosphere for the residents
ABOUT YOUAs an experienced qualified nurse RGN, who shows the most up to date knowledge of clinical practices, you will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, be keen in developing yourself and others and able to build good close relationships with residents and their families.
You will be driven and determined to deliver continuous improvement, with an enthusiastic approach and the ability to be highly responsive under pressure. It is also important that you share our same family care values, be a team player and committed to ensure the very best of care is delivered to our wonderful residents.

You will have a wide range of responsibilities to include making critical clinical decisions, assessing and developing person centred care plans, safely providing nursing care including administering medication, dressings and management of resident’s medical conditions.
