Job Summary: The Enhanced Care in Care Homes Pharmacy Technician will support the Darlington PCN Pharmacy Hub by working with the pharmacy team and GP practices to deliver a programme of medicines optimisation and reconciliation from hospital discharge and other secondary care communications. This will enable safe discharge of patients from hospital to home, ensuring medication changes are safe and timely managed with patient counselling where appropriate. • We also expect you to have a past experience of working with medical devices, their maintenance, annual compliance, being able to teach others how to use the equipment and validate that staff are competent to use the equipment

• You will also be involved in supporting the Theatre department and porter patients to and from theatre.

We are seeking a Band 8b Lead Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, Family Therapist or C&A Psychotherapist 1.0 WTE to join our busy and dynamic outpatient (CAMHS) team in Thurrock on a permanent contract.



We have a growing and supportive therapy team, and we are looking for a psychological practitioner who is passionate about young people’s mental health and wellbeing to join us in the delivery of high quality and effective CAMHS interventions.



This role requires a post-graduate qualified Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, Family therapist or Child & Adolescent psychotherapist fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g., HCPC) and have extensive experience in delivering Psychological Therapies in a CAMHS setting.



The post holder will provide clinical leadership, supervision and consultation to junior psychology /therapy colleagues, assistant psychologists and trainee psychologists.



This post involves assessing and treating children and young people who present with moderate to severe mental health difficulties in a community CAMHS setting. The successful candidate will primarily work within an ithrive approach., seeing children and young people presenting with a range of difficulties including (but not limited to), anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, self-harm, and emotion regulation difficulties.





The post holder will receive regular clinical supervision from the Strategic Lead, and will be expected to attend and participate in MDT team meetings, facilitate & lead clinical meetings and attend clinical lead strategic meetings. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social care professionals and partnership agencies as we promote trauma informed and culturally informed practices within the service.



We hold the development of people within our team as crucial to delivering key targets for the service and the Trust. We offer clinical placements to Trainee Clinical Psychologists.We persistently encourage our clinicians to broaden their skills via training opportunities and in house CPD and learning events.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

You will:

- Routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions in line with the CY-IAPT programme within CAMHS

- Promote the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families in the community through clinical interventions.

- Undertake initial community based assessments and deliver a range of interventions to children and young people with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties where appropriate

- Assess and develop plans of care to meet the complex needs of patients with a variety of conditions.



The post holder will support both their peers and team lead and be an effective team member whilst using their own initiative. They will have a commitment to collaborative working and actively supporting and liaising with other health and social care professionals and agencies as we embed a psychologically informed model of practice within the service.

About You

To apply, you'll need a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy, or equivalent qualification, with current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.

You'll bring experience of Occupational Therapy, modelling good practice and providing advice and guidance in complex situations. As, as a subject matter expert in relevant professional practice, you should have a comprehensive understanding of current legislation, regulations, and guidance. With experience of chairing meetings involving clients, family members, carers, and other multi-agency professionals, we're looking for your ability to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community to provide a supportive framework for vulnerable adults.

You'll also bring:

• Evidence of continuing professional development and capability of practice in accordance with current professional standards.
• An in-depth understanding of the financial implications of commissioned care packages.
• The ability to make clear decisions, to highlight and limit potential risks associated with intervention.

This role involves travelling around Essex. A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential.
