Key Responsibilities:

To complete premises inspections within the GC sites and develop and maintain Health and Safety Management Systems and audit scheme.
To undertake audits of Health and Safety paperwork and provide Health and Safety Training when required.
To maintain a schedule of monitoring visits to ensure ongoing compliance with current legislation and any contractual requirements, e.g. Fire/premises assessments, inspections etc.
To keep up to date information on any new guidance, policy changes from any of the

Undertake investigations of accidents/incidents involving staff and clients.
Undertake Statutory assessments when requested e.g. Workstation assessments, new or expectant mother assessments.
Develop and maintain H&S systems and keep up to date with legislation and provide statistical data to provide management information to the Group H&S manager.
About you:

This branch is staffed with an experienced team of 5 including a Pharmacist Manager, an ACT, and x3 HCPs - providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting on a residential area main road - with good parking. Currently dispensing around 7500 items per month, this is a relatively BUSY branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

What We Require

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

About Us:

PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution is a national full-line pharmaceutical wholesaler with a network of distribution centres nationwide. We pride ourselves on delivering a high quality supply chain service to our customers, who include pharmacy, GPs, and hospitals. All of our depots are licensed by the MHRA, and comply with BSI ISO Quality and Environmental standards. We operate twice daily deliveries from our distribution centres across Monday to Friday and on a Saturday morning, and our local teams are supported by a centralised function team, primarily from our Head Office in Runcorn.

About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our existing team in our Wakefield Distribution Centre.

Your key responsibilities will include maintaining high volume picking machinery via planned maintenance schedules, maintain up to date records of all maintenance work and support and manage the activities of any outside contractors whilst on site.

The successful candidate will understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines for Pharmaceutical Distributors and carry out the duties in such a way that they demonstrate compliance. You will have the ability to safely work at height. Although you will not have direct reports, you will mentor and coach junior members of the technical team.

£39,182.21 per Annum plus shift supplements

Essential Skills/Experience

• Recognised level 2 engineering electrical/mechanical qualification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
• Experience of fault finding within electrical/mechanical/pneumatic systems.

Desirable:

• IOSH/NEBOSH certificate
• Demonstrated history of continuous improvement
• Knowledge of AS-i/PROFIBUS/PROFINET
