As a GS-0638-11 Recreation Therapist your duties may include but are not limited to the following:

This role will focus on supporting our client's Offshore Wind Farm Projects, ensuring that the project is delivered safely and efficiently.

The HSE Advisor is responsible for driving the implementation of the HSE management system and practices to ensure HSE standards and requirements are achieved throughout the construction project.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting and assisting the client's delivery team in the delivery of our client's Offshore Wind Farm with main focus on the Offshore WTG Installation, Onshore Converter Stations and Onshore Infrastructure, to achieve compliance with project goals, company standards, statutory responsibilities associated HSE and related works management.
• Provide the project manager with any reports or statistics required
• Report directly to the project manager and HSE Manager
• Review of contractor RAMS and other relevant documentation so as to ensure compliance, with the CDM Regulations, Client duties
• Supporting the development of local procedures and/or standards for HSE aspects related to work processes or asset.
• Prepare internal or review contractor's formal reports, i.e. SEARS /Accident Investigation, High Potential/Near Hits, Internal audit reports and daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly and yearly HSE reports. Lead incident investigation where required. Formally communicate learnings from incident investigations.
• Active monitoring of site health and safety and work with other client disciplines and contractors to implement improvements

The Psychiatric Acute Recovery Center (PARC) is 28 beds for care of patients with a variety of psychiatric diagnoses. The major diagnosis reasons for admission include the following: psychoses, substance abuse and dependence disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), organic disorders and neuroses. Patients are provided therapeutic modalities, to include electro-convulsive (ECT) therapy and rehabilitative services that include group therapy or education, one-to-one education and/or counseling and medication management. The interdisciplinary team meets each week to discuss care planning and discharge needs of patients. Allied health team providers provide psychological testing and counseling, social services, vocational counseling, and recreational therapy. The nursing needs of patients are evaluated using the nursing process and care is individualized through interdisciplinary approaches of care. Care is focused on providing a protective environment for those requiring protection from self-injury and/or injury to others resulting from identified diagnoses and psychiatric illnesses. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and nursing assistants provide nursing care.

Nursing staff members from psychiatry additionally provide nursing support in psychiatric outpatient clinics. One of these clinics, the Mental Health Acute Care Clinic (MHACC) serves as a walk-in outpatient clinic, which provides patient assessments, coordination of care, completion of clinical reminders with health education and counseling, assistance to veterans and their families with crisis calls.
