Hawkesbury Lodgeis a 20 bedded mixed sex rehabilitation unit based within the Longford area of Coventry.

It provides inpatient recovery-based rehabilitation for adults who have been experiencing difficulty with maintaining their mental well being and living in the community. The residents may be admitted from the community or an acute inpatient setting, and through their journey with us are looking to recover the skills, roles, routines and right support to be able to live well.

The role of the Occupational Therapist is integral to the multidisciplinary recovery approach with the residents on their rehabilitation journey. The post offers genuine opportunity to influence and shape how things are done here.

To develop, provide and evaluate effective occupational therapy with the residents, and contribute to the maintenance and development of the therapeutic environment within the busy unit.

Significant investment in our Special School Nursing team means we are looking for several new posts to support the growing number of CYP with complex health needs in Coventry’s special schools. This post is for an experienced children’s nurse/ learning disability nurse with extensive children’s experience. The post will act as a senior nurse the five special schools the service supports facilitating the team of nurses and carers to meet the complex physical health needs of pupils in school.

Extensive experience of working with children or young people with complex physical health needs is essential ideally in a variety of settings but especially special schools.
