About the Role
The position reports to the Director of Financial Accounting, Revenue, and Systems, focusing on the effective administration and improvement of accounts receivable, cash management, and aged care finance at Grampians Health. As a key team member, you'll help the revenue services team achieve strategic objectives and performance targets by optimizing revenue through education and coaching for management and staff, ensuring accurate and timely revenue collection.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strong leadership and training for staff, ensuring efficient system use and timely operations.
Oversee accounts receivable, cash management, aged care finance, and admissions at Grampians Health.
Drive timely collection of debtor accounts in line with hospital policies and procedures.
Champion change and process improvements across revenue operations and the billing cycle.
Ensure compliance with aged care finance obligations, including Prudential Standards submissions.
Collaborate with aged care administrators for efficient admissions processing and review commercial arrangements to maximize revenue opportunities.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Undergraduate accounting degree and professional membership (CAANZ and/or CPA).
Significant background in similar roles within comparable organizations.
Proven ability to initiate and implement effective change.
Strong skills in computer applications and financial analysis.
Excellent relationship-building and teamwork capabilities.
Background in Accounts Receivable, revenue reporting, and understanding of residential aged care legislative requirement
