Roles and Responsibilities
1. Provides the necessary guidance to members and guests when using the gymnasium equipment.
2. Keeps abreast of members’ physical fitness training needs and provides the appropriate programmes.
3. Develops and implements Personal Training (PT) programmes as per the set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), to meet the needs of Club members and their guests.
4. Performs routine checks to ensure that gym and equipment are in optimal condition and ensure the gym cleanliness at all times.
5. Conducts regular checks at all the sports facilities to ensure they are in good condition.
6. Ensures all equipment & facilities are well-maintained and reports to Executive if any repair or upgrading is necessary.
7. Provides the training to the Sports staff on the usage of the gym equipment and submit the training forms to HCD for records.
8. Monitors activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures.
9. Ensures that the Gymnasium outlet is kept in good condition.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department / Executive.
Job Requirements
§ GCE ‘O’ Level with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
§ Possesses a certified Personal Trainer qualification to coach / train.
§ Good customer service attitude with a strong passion in coaching.
§ Warm and friendly disposition.
§ Good knowledge in Physical Fitness programmes.
§ Ability to design and implement Personal Training.
§ Knowledge of Sports Awareness programmes.
