We are seeking an experienced and capable clinical pharmacy leader with a track record of delivering high quality and innovative services. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service across a mix of acute and community sites including Conquest Hospital, Eastbourne District General Hospital, Bexhill Hospital, and Rye Hospital. You will support the Chief Pharmacist by promoting and implementing a high quality, safe and cohesive service to all our patients.
ESHT is an integrated acute and community Trust providing healthcare for the people of East Sussex. Our acute clinical services team provide medicines optimisation across a broad range of specialties and functions including pharmacist run clinics in specialties including stroke, cardiology and neurology. The community team supports our intermediate care units, virtual wards and domiciliary service. The medicines value team supports our efficiently programmes through pathway optimisation and cost-effective use of biosimilars. We operate an aseptic unit at Conquest Hospital preparing chemotherapy for both of the acute sites.
The pharmacy service has a high level of digital maturity. We make extensive use of automated medicines storage and recently completed the roll out of a comprehensive ePMA system to all acute adult beds, which is fully integrated with the pharmacy system.
