MedicalJobsAustralia.com About the Role We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to oversee and manage the clinical inpatient unit, ensuring the efficient execution of clinical trials. This is a full-time, permanent position with on-site hours from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with on-call coverage during weekends on a rotating roster with Clinical Nurse Supervisors. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary interface for Project Teams concerning clinical unit operations and clinical trials Oversee the resourcing and training of clinical staff to ensure adherence to study protocols, SOPs, and ICH GCP guidelines Manage the facility's maintenance and ensure all clinical equipment is serviced, calibrated, and documented correctly Lead the Clinical Nurse Supervisors and ensure the clinical unit has the necessary resources, personnel, equipment, and consumables to conduct trials safely and efficiently Participate in the administration of investigational products and provide support to staff as required Coordinate the unit schedule to meet project timelines and assist with quality systems development and audits Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Skills & Experience Essential Requirements: AHPRA Registered Nurse Minimum 12 months of management experience or similar leadership roles Comprehensive knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills Proven ability to manage clinical trials in accordance with study protocols and SOPs Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience Desirable Experience: Experience in early-phase clinical trials Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a clinical setting Why Join?
