They are focused on improving people's quality of life by preventing, alleviating, and curing diseases. They have a wide pharmaceutical portfolio, specialising in some of the following areas: Oncology, neuroscience, and rare diseases. There is an opportunity for a Senior Medical Information Manager to join their Medical Information Team on a 4-month contract.

Your new role
* Support the medical information service for Asia and specific ACE countries including handling of medical enquiries and contact centre support
* Ensure provision of medical information service aligned with SOPs and local regulations and be inspection/audit-ready at all times
* Create, update, or implement policies, SOPs, business practices, and work instructions, including input to global SOP training curricula and responsibility for International MI SOP training curricula
* Support the training of new hires in the international region and UK&I affiliate
* Work collaboratively with the Global Strategic Capabilities team to deliver strategic and operational projects, including the oversight of medical information database and quality control of medical enquiry cases
* Analyse departmental metrics so that patterns, trends, and issues are identified and shared with other internal stakeholders
* Contribute to the implementation of new and innovative technologies impacting the provision of medical information
* Work collaboratively with ACE Medical Information lead to identifying the need to align medical information support model in line with global and regional/regulatory requirements.
* Work cross functionally : Global Patient Safety, Quality and Medical Governance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal/Business Conduct, Medical Affairs
* Act as an advisor and contribute to regional/global medical information strategies and delivery of related projects
What you'll need to succeed
* Pharmacy, Nursing or Medical/ Life Sciences degree/advanced degree or equivalent
* Experience in the pharmaceutical industry within Medical Information
* Experience of working with Medical Information vendors
* Excellent interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese language preferred
* Proven track record of working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
* Highly self-motivated and able to perform multiple tasks in a timely fashion
* Excellent project management, analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of applicable regulations regarding the dissemination of medical information, pharmaceutical industry promotional/non-promotional activities and adverse event and product quality complaint reporting
