JOB DESCRIPTION:

An amazing sales opportunity has arisen within Abbott's Neuromodulation division. We are recruiting for an experienced Territory Manager for Chronic Pain covering accounts across Dublin area.

Responsible for sales revenue and growth you'll be able to attend clinical situations, offering informed advice on the use, settings and application of implantable devices used (likely SCS, DRG & RF ablation). Full product training will be given. You will need to have a pioneering spirit and be prepared to be flexible and supportive across territory boundaries to ensure that all customer service needs are met through effective team working.

Main responsibilities: 

• To prioritise and plan sales presentations and prospecting activities in an organised and efficient manner to achieve preset revenue and product targets whilst controlling expenditure. This includes performing stand duty at exhibitions when requested and responding to technical questions that might be raised by internal or external customers.
• To manage customer relationships and provide service to optimise continuing sales revenues from existing accounts whilst also developing market penetration strategies to establish new accounts within the assigned territory.
• To present relevant products, advising clinicians on the appropriate features and benefits of each.
• To educate clinicians to a ‘stand alone’ level of competence and confidence.
• To understand the dynamics of the local healthcare market and competitors’ strategies impacting the accounts within the assigned sales territory.
• To maintain up to date technical knowledge of relevant therapies, relevant products, clinical practice, local disease management strategies, regulatory requirements, quality standards and business policies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advice to leaders, Sales & Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other functions building a solid and trusted relationship

• Work in cross functional projects providing compliance advice and ensuring that all mitigating controls are in place

• Support the Interaction with Customers Center of Excellence in collecting, reviewing and publishing the transparency reports required in the countries of responsibilities

• Support the International Compliance Investigation Lead during compliance investigation in conducting interviewing and reviewing documentation

• Collect, prepare and analyze interactions with Customers data using company tools and any other advanced solutions and tools in order to create dashboard and provide reports to be used during presentations to leaders and for enhancing the compliance programs helping in assessing and focusing on specific risk areas

• Support Head of International Compliance in preparing slide deck and presentations for leaders

• Maintain current knowledge of regulations and authority expectations and monitor changes in all applicable regional and local laws, regulations and guidelines, issuing appropriate recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Legal or equivalent

• 5 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Internal audit

What Channel Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing, and monitoring the appropriate products and services. The Channel Manager, Product & Solutions Marketing executes marketing strategies for products to differentiate Cardinal Health’s products and to grow revenue, market share, and customer awareness. Based on Marketing strategies and initiatives outlined by the Sr. Channel Manager, the Channel Manager develops marketing content and campaigns for Embedded Pharmacy. This job coordinates cross-functionally to gain insights and alignment across relevant stakeholders, manages relationships with internal and external partners, and reports on the performance of marketing campaigns.

Accountabilities

• In conjunction with the Sr. Channel Manager and product stakeholders from a variety of functions, develops goals and key performance indicators for marketing campaigns for each product and/or service in individual portfolio. Executes marketing campaigns against established goals for engagement metrics, return on investment, and other metrics.
• Manages content for marketing campaigns using content created by vendors, internally developed content, or a combination. Evaluates quality and alignment with marketing objectives, and coordinates with Legal team to ensure that all content is compliant with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Monitors key performance indicators throughout Marketing campaigns and makes minor adjustments to content and customer targeting as necessary. Coordinates with Sr. Channel Manager as necessary to make significant adjustments in response to poor performance.
