Duties & Responsibilties:

• To safeguard and maintain the security of the hotel premises, car parks, its’ guests, staff and visitors along with all property contained within.
• To manage the day to day running of the security department and support all other hotel departments.
• To remain flexible to cover security department rota changes including holidays, i.e. slotting in to the night shift etc.
• To train all members of the team in the correct systems of work, policies and procedures. To manage and monitor all work carried out.
• Within the constraints of the law and company policy, to stop, search, and detain those committing offences against the company within the complex.
• To sign police charge sheets on behalf of the company and attend court as prosecutor on behalf of the company.

The Business Assurance (BA) Department are looking for a Health and Safety Support Manager to join our Health and Safety Team. To apply you must be within easy reach of travelling to Heathrow (LHR) airport and associated sites. On occasions you may be asked to attend other sites. You will report jointly to the BA Dept. and LHR Management team.

You will assist the H&S Management Team to co-ordinate, support and advise the Business on aspects with regards to Health and Safety. You will assist the team to establish, manage, and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety are adhered to.

You will work alongside Safety Champions and H&S Reps to ensure legislative, internal, and client compliance.

- If you do not already hold the General NEBOSH certificate. The successful applicant will need to successfully pass the NEBOSH qualification within the specified probationary period.

- Daily monitoring of the operation within your area.

- Ensure all employees within the region hold correct H&S training with appropriate records.
