The Senior CYP Nurse Specialist will develop their knowledge and understanding of the complex nature and medical requirements in managing excess weight, to enable them to provide specialist nursing skills, knowledge and expertise to support CYP and their families. The Senior CYP Nurse Specialist will contribute to holistic health assessments of CYP including physical, psychological and social factors, collaborating with the MDT to develop individualised care plans and provide a point of contact for families to ensure these are regularly reviewed.
