Senior Health Care Support Worker
Full time 37.5 hours, seven days a week (currently Monday to Friday 0645-1445 )

Surgical Admissions Lounge is a nurse led department and we strive for excellence and are passionate about the quality of care we deliver to our patients. Due to the gradual restart of services and the ongoing transformation of the department and the elective admissions process, we are looking to recruit a band three senior health care support worker to join our team.
You will work as part of the nursing team, ensuring our patients are prepared safely for theatre and receive high standards of care from the very start of their hospital journey. Your main role will be managing your own workload by preparing patients for surgery, under supervision of trained staff.
You will:
• work proactively to ensure that theatre utilisation is optimised
• maintain our existing processes
• promote and deliver a high quality, patient focused service
• carry out regular auditing to ensure high levels of care are maintained
