1. Make evidence-based decisions, in partnership with patients and other professionals within the specialist area. Development and review of Patient Group Directions Development and review of Shared Care guidelines. Develop and implementation of relevant local and national guidelines within the renal speciality. Identify, initiate and evaluate Drug Usage Reviews and audits and implement changes in prescribing practice accordingly. Provide expert medicines information to clinicians and healthcare professionals and ensure that this information is utilised in a systematic and appropriate way to optimise patient care. To liaise and work with other specialist pharmacists to share the best practice, to strengthen patient focused pharmaceutical care. 2. RESPONSIBILITY FOR PATIENTS To assist in identifying and managing changes necessary to maintain a high-quality service responsive to patients needs and to consider the implications of changes for other areas/personnel. To assist in the planning and organising of a clinical pharmacy service to renal patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. This fellow job has come up as part of the NICU expansion in which we have opened 45 cots to provide all levels of neonatal care at the Royal London Hospital. We are a tertiary centre and take referrals from all over the North East London region.

The posts will be for a period of 12 months with further extension depending upon the clinical performance

Training will be provided as appropriate for the individual in accordance with the syllabus for trainees in neonatal medicine following discussion with their educational supervisor. In general training opportunities occur in the context of:

Consultant led ward rounds twice daily
Registrar led ward rounds in second half of post dependent on experience
Practical supervision
Concise topic teaching two mornings per week

A weekly academic ward round and case presentation/seminar

These referrals will be coming from a variety of sources (LPS, Inpatient Wards, Community Teams and other CAHT Teams & SPA). You will be dealing with these referrals that have very specific response times and liaising with relevant professionals. You will also have significant managerial & operational responsibility day to day.

CAHTT is a multidisciplinary team. We work closely with Inpatient Services, SPA, MINT, Early Intervention, Social Services, the Police, Statutory and Voluntary agencies. This would be a really exciting time to join the team as the function of the team is changing and the Band 7 Senior Crisis Care Practitioner role is key to these changes.

Regular monthly supervision and reflective practice will be provided. As a Senior Practitioner within the team you will be working shift work 37.5 Hours a week. The post holder should have a variety of significant experience and previous community experience would be ideal.

About the role

Balfour Beatty are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our Major Projects Team on the Old Oak Common Project in London.

HS2’s station construction partner, Balfour Beatty VINCI Systra joint venture (BBVS) are leading the construction of HS2’s new Old Oak Common Station. Set to be the best connected and largest new railway stations ever built in the UK, Old Oak Common will become one of the country’s most vital transport super hubs. The station will have 14 platforms, a mix of six high speed and eight conventional service platforms, with an 850m-long station box. It is expected to be one of the busiest railway stations in the country with high speed rail services to the midlands, Scotland and the North and access to central London and Heathrow via the Crossrail Elizabeth Line.

The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will provide risk-based assurance that the project is compliant with all HSES requirements and provide expert HSES technical advice, guidance, and support.

What you'll be doing

• Implement Business Unit strategy through visible leadership to drive the delivery of Safe at Heart.
• Provide project teams with expert HSW technical advice, guidance and support.
• Collaboratively engage with both internal & external customers and the supply chain to promote zero harm delivery.
• Undertake regular site inspections as per project risk matrix and produce formal reports using the Project Portal to record HSW inspections.
• Undertake regular checks on Health and Safety Risk Management highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Provide expert support to investigate accidents, incidents and near miss events in accordance with Balfour Beatty Group Standards and HS2 requirements.
• Engage and develop relationships with design & engineering teams to eliminate and reduce HSW risk through design.
• Challenge the norm by innovating and improving the way we work, whilst keeping pace with industry change and promote successes.

• Ability to undertake project planning, project management and work to budgets.
