Qualification & Experience
Normally a minimum of 10 years experience Chartered Engineer or Fellow. Have a proven track record as an Senior PH Engineer
Have a proven ability in design, project management, team management and client liaison.
Business Development
Win business and develop new clients with annual targets to be agreed.
Be always ambassadors for company/brand and or build business with existing clients.
Key responsibilities (club project & company & engineering)
Project Role :
Achieve financial and non-financial targets for a Portfolio of jobs agreed with the Chief Executive from time to time.
Be able to motivate and lead large multidisciplinary professional teams to deliver client solutions.
Be ultimately responsible for a portfolio of projects as project director covering all
aspects:-
Project delivery
Client satisfaction
Job profitability
Job cash flow
Project quality
Be commercially astute.
Be experienced and proficient
Provide a support/monitoring role to Associate Directors when the Associate Director is the main client contact.
Company Role:
Provide a support/mentoring role to Team Leaders (Associate/Associate Director) and support the Managing Director in the decision-making process.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
Drive company wide initiatives.
Be proficient in communicating our business plan, mission statement and key challenges to staff, business partners and client.
Show an active contribution to training and developing staff including under-taking six monthly performance reviews
Inspire creative and controlled passion for engineering.
Take responsibility for key development areas of the business, Marketing, Quality Management (QA) for the department/team and Training, etc.
Take responsibility for formulating and applying appropriate policy for Health & Safety
Authorise purchase orders and LPO's for equipments and services.
Engineering Role:
Be champions in their specialist field and deliver workshops/ seminars as and when required.
Have detailed knowledge and be competent in the design and delivery of internal training.
Be able to present to and advise clients on all engineering issues including concept design, buildability, construction techniques, detailed design, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts.
Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in BIM/CAD standards.
