Overview
The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for processing procurement of goods, and services for FHI360 Ghana Office as well as ensuring documentation is filled appropriately.
Job Summary
Provide highest standard of Procurement services to FHI360 Ghana Office in accordance with established rules, regulations, and policies.
Ensure integrity and transparency of the procurement process and in compliance with USAID policies and procedures.
Identify and fully understand the best procurement methods to use for maximized competitive bidding process.
Prepare procurement packages for review and approval.
Reconcile final invoice, delivery notes and Purchase Orders and request upload onto DPA.
Maintain and update all trackers.
Update folders on Share Point with relevant documentation ensuring that filing system is complete and consistent.
Perform other tasks as required by supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Business Management and
Procurement Supply or related field.
At least 1-2 years procurement work experience preferably within the NGO sector.
Knowledge of USAID procedures and regulations desirable
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in an extremely fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent command of written and spoken English is required.
