We are looking for a Dentist to cover a locum assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at Windsor Dental Centre, in Windsor, Berkshire.

This is a locum role (37 hours per week) and the successful candidate will deliver an exceptional standard of care to the MoD service personnel.

Job Description – Service Requirements
• To work independently and to provide both a full range of dental treatment to maintain oral health and to undertake related general administrative duties where required to work towards improving and maintaining the dental health and operational fitness of personnel for whom they are providing care for.
• To assist the Senior Dental Officer (SDO), when present, or operate independently to achieve dental fitness targets, for all entitled personnel, as detailed in the SG Policy and Standards Document (P&SD).
• To ensure that not less than 6.5 hours per day in 2 sessions are set aside for direct patient contact.
• To ensure that all treatment is correctly recorded on the electronic health record and any relevant FMed documents

Essential Requirements / Qualifications / Experience
• Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions.
• Certified completion of Foundation Training in Dentistry in the UK, or have evidence of at least 12 months full-time postgraduate clinical experience derived in a primary dental care setting, or have qualified before foundation training became compulsory in the NHS.
• Must hold valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognised dental defence organisation.
• Must provide evidence of clinical currency in accordance with JSP 950 Leaflet 4-1-4 Returning to Clinical Practice, specifically a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
• To have completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, disinfection and decontamination, radiography and radiation protection.
• To be trained and current in emergency and resuscitation procedures and have practised and tested these procedures at least annually in accordance with Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines and JSP 950 Leaflet 4-6-1 DMS CPR Standards and Training.
• Must have undertaken the additional health clearance checks for clinicians required to perform Exposure Prone Procedures (in accordance with the Department of Health policy entitled “Health clearance for tuberculosis, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV: New Healthcare Workers”).
• Must be in date and able to provide certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training.

Permanent - Full time hours (40 hours) Monday to Friday or split over 4 days

We have a number of fantastic opportunities across one of our brilliant Nuffy Bear nurseries inside the UK's largest Healthcare Charity.

Joining the team you'll provide care and education while promoting health, and helping children achieve the best possible start in life. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer a unique rage of wellbeing focused care for children including swimming lessons for our over 3's, and a forestry school, making this a truly unique opportunity.

If the smile of a job well done is important to you, joining us will give you the chance to learn by working with some of the best. You are to qualified to at least level 2 EY Practitioner, you already understand how to communicate with young children and you want to work in a nursery setting. Ideally, you have a Paediatric First Aid qualification, but this isn't essential.

In addition to this if your are seeking a more senior role and you are qualified with either the NNEB, an NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons or equivalent. Ideally, you also hold Early Years Practitioner Status and Paediatric First Aid and food hygiene qualifications.

As you'd expect, you'll require an enhanced DBS for these roles.

Your Duties...

Our Domestic assistants work closely with the Head of Housekeeping/Home Manager to maintain the highest level of cleanliness throughout the home, bedrooms and all public areas, emptying bins, cleaning floors, walls and corridors, cleaning toilets and bathrooms.
