PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Partner Communications Lead Care Enablement, the Business Partner Manager for Care Enablement Communications is responsible for working directly with business leadership to actively support Care Enablement (CE) in the development and implementation of communication activities based on the business objectives and content CE delivers. This Manager will play a key strategic communications support role for Care Enablement, helping to ensure the execution of both internal and external CE communications objectives. Internally, this role will support CE communications planning and ensure overall alignment with the broader FME corporate communications agenda. They will work with CE BP leadership to help catalogue and prioritize CE communication needs and coordinate with CoE personnel to ensure the timely execution of drafted communication requirements. Externally, they will support CE / CBS communication needs, inclusive of PR, social media, website, SEO and analytics requirements. They will additionally support the implementation of corporate branding across the CE organization.
The ideal candidate is an experienced communications professional, who has worked in an integrated global corporate communications environment and has demonstrated experience in employee engagement campaigns. The candidate should be a proactive communications professional, capable of addressing multiple, complex facets of medical product communication concurrently at a global scale. To do this, they should strive to optimize available tools and resources in ways that deliver Care Enablement communication needs most effectively within a Global Communications organization.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support worldwide internal and external communications for the Care Enablement organization, ensuring that business objectives are addressed and CE content is delivered effectively across all necessary audiences.
- Partner directly with CE leadership to define and execute on an internal communications plan that reflects CE business and strategic priorities.
- Support execution of communication requirements and strategy for CE leadership communications.
- Support CE editorial planning, ensuring timely execution and implementation of communication requirements.
- Support the development of communication cadences and sequencing that ensures CE employees remain engaged and connected to CE strategic priorities.
- Where necessary, serve as communications advisor and provide executive communications support for leadership within select Care Enablement business units.
- Partner with CBS to execute and implement the external communication needs for CE (PR, Social Media, Website, SEO, Analytics).
- Support implementation of Corporate Branding and SOPs across the CE organization.
- Help track channel communication effectiveness metrics and recommend actionable changes for Care Enablement based on data and insights to improve results; ensure segments and functions align with these metrics.
- Collaborate effectively with other BP leadership to ensure ongoing planning and resourcing alignment with the global communications calendaring process.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or similar in Communications, Sales Management, Business Communications, or similar field(s)
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate communications, including employee communications, business communications and marketing; demonstrated experience supporting global communications teams, plans and programs preferably for a Fortune 500.
- Proven track record of results in a comprehensive medical communication or change communications role.
- Proven track record of results in leading employee communications campaigns.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability in handling major reputational issues, crises, and business issues.
- Understanding of governmental issues that affect business priorities.
- Strong verbal communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to identify, assess, understand, and make appropriate recommendations to meet business needs.
- Experience creating effective messaging for a range of audiences.
- Problem-solving skills, with specific focus on developing new, creative ways to drive communications in a changing business environment.
