- Documenting patient care in a manner that follows professional nursing standards and outlines practices.
- Drawing blood, checking vital signs, monitoring blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and ensuring that IV lines are maintained.
- Facilitating the speedy recovery of patients through various treatment methods and procedures.
- Offering advice and emotional support to patients and their families, educating them on medication use, healthy habits, and preventive measures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-assessments and be committed to providing high-quality patient care. They should be excellent communicators and team workers, flexible, motivated, and committed to the highest standards of patient care. Salary is up to £33000. Plus benefits (depending on level of experience, training and qualifications)What you'll need to succeed
- Valid NMC Registration
- Evidence of relevant clinical professional development
- Up-to-date knowledge in the area of practice
- Awareness of the NMC code of Accountability
- Must have evidence of Pre-operative Assessment Training or competency
- Must be competent in Venepuncture and 12 lead ECG
- Must have sound knowledge of the NICE guidelines and application of such within the Pre-assessment setting
- The ideal candidate will have experience of pre-assessing simple and complex patients for all elective surgery and experience of working autonomously within a team.
