THE JOB
This role will proactively interact with guests to provide information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the venue from the moment they step through the doors.

Duties may include: working coat check, scanning tickets at venue entrances, checking guest ID’s to ensure they are valid and of legal drinking age, checking tickets and passes in reserved seating areas and at staff entrances, and assisting patrons with directions and information.

USHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Assist guests with locating their seats.
• Check tickets for entry into various seating locations throughout the venue during the event.

This exciting position offers the selected individual the opportunity to learn about and contribute to producing various live experiences within Live Nation’s Media & Sponsorship Integrated Marketing Department. You will work as part of the Experiential & Events Team helping to execute Sponsorship projects with a focus on festival hospitality, hospitality events, custom concerts and more.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Assisting the Experiential team with the following:

  • All aspects of custom event production, included but not limited to: design, production, logistics, research/sourcing, content, budgeting, legal, marketing, etc.

  • On event advances with venues and vendors with spreadsheets and updates

  • Communicating, planning, and executing information to internal departments and vendors

  • Advancing orders and details with external vendors i.e. catering, rentals, florals, AV, etc.

• Create, update, and maintain event related documents such as: production books and tracking documents, event & venue decks, program budgets, run of shows, contact sheets, staff manuals, safety plans, floor plans, etc.

• Prepare onsite assets such as parking passes, credential packets, catering packets, etc.

• Maintain, organize, and reconcile pre and post-event settlements such as: expenses and receipts

• Order and track the replenishment of supplies, as directed

• Develop and execute research projects included but not limited to any upcoming event projects, design decks, new vendors, new technologies etc.

What you'll do:

• Work with Chef to schedule shifts for kitchen staff
• Ensure that there is no unapproved overtime on shift
• Maintain daily labor sheet
• Assist in making decisions for staff and reaching resolutions of staff issues and problems

• Create harmonious working atmosphere for staff
• Monitor staff compliance with all HOB rules and policies
• Assist in performance of all job functions required of staff, including the lifting/moving of up to 50 lbs.

• Maintain Shift Checklist, Daily Cleaning List and Master Cleaning List

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Responsible for all food and food related costs, procedures, quality, and all back of house labor percentage and budgets.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• Minimum 3 years kitchen management experience and experience in management
• Skilled in cooking, cost controls, management, crew training and development
• Working knowledge of Kitchen and dish washing procedures
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage costs, labor costs, and product cost
• Computer knowledge:  Excel worksheets, databases, word processing, and Micros
• Ability to run all kitchen operations 
• Knowledge of operations and procedures of a multi-faceted entertainment facility
• College degree
• Able to lift at least 150 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time (10 – 12 hours)
• Able to tolerate extreme heat
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions.
