Working Hours: 39 hours per week, between Monday to Sunday, shift times with needs of the business but usually between 7am to 3pm & 1pm to 9pm.

We are also a Conferencing and Event Centre, boasting a large number of recently refurbished rooms and outdoor spaces for weddings, corporate events, and team-building days.
As the Kitchen porter, the purpose of your role is supporting the chefs within the kitchen environment. The role is made up of varying responsibilities which include basic food preparation, washing up, cleaning, and clearing all kitchen areas, unloading, and putting away deliveries, emptying bins, sweeping, and mopping floors, ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctly and deep cleaning fridges and storerooms to maintain sanitary and kitchen safety standards.
You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with free access to the leisure facilities, various discounts, and excellent development opportunities.
About you
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a level of experience and knowledge within a kitchen environment and it’s desirable that you hold a level 1 food safety award.
You will be thorough and pay attention to detail, have the ability to work well with your hands, be patient and be able to remain calm in stressful situations, as well as being able to work on your own and within a team.
Lastly, you will have good communication, listening and interpersonal skills, maintain high standards of presentation, have a flexible attitude, as well as a personal interest in health, fitness, and wellbeing.
