Our Finance department is thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join
our vibrant team in Crewe!

You will play a key role in supporting site performance reporting alongside our finance experts. If you're detail-driven and enjoy
working with data, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 16:00, Fridays 8:00 – 15:00.

Duties and responsibilities:

* Assisting the site finance team in the reporting of site performance
* ERP System Interrogation and assisting with the implementation of any new ERP system.
* Site KPI Reporting
* Completing site variance reports on MUV, Labour, Distribution and Overheads
* Working towards a recognised accounting qualification.
* Monthly Stock Reconciliation
* Monitoring and posting of prepayments & accruals
* Analysis of site overheads
* Tracking of capital project costs
* Assisting with regular forecasting of site performance
* Annual budgeting of site performance
* Management of site master data, including but not limited to item master, BOMs, supplier pricing agreements, customer price
lists.




Your Skills and Experience:

* Experience within a finance role
* Strong communicator (both verbal and written)
* Enjoys working with a team
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

We currently have a great opportunity for a QA Supervisor to join us at our site in Crewe. This will be a 12 month Fixed Term
Contract.

QA Supervisor - Savoury

The main purpose of this role is to carry out technical and supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s
policies and applicable laws.

Key Duties

* Support and assist with unannounced BRC preparation
* Implementation and maintenance of customer COP
* Unannounced Audit preparation
* Audit performance (Standard, Customer, Legal Requirements)
* Customer Complaints Reduction
* Maintain Quality Management System
* Carry out Internal Audits
* Metal Detection higher level knowledge
* Provide Quality/ Food Safety Training to Production teams
* Management of the pest control site visits and non-conformance close outs
* Validation work
* Drive Factory Hygiene and Quality Standards
* Manage Environmental Swabbing Plan
* Manage Paperwork compliance checks
* Manage Taste Panel results
* Manage GMP, Glass & Plastic audits
* Manage relevant non-conformances
* Investigate customer complaints
* Raise Supplier complaints
* Train factory staff on any required procedures
* Create and prepare procedures, forms, and product quality standards
* Record and Report on Technical KPI's
* Coordinate product trials
* Be able to carry out intake checks of product delivered to site
* Coach production workers on numerous areas, including, but not limited to; Allergen running sequences, CCP's, Food Safety, and
Control Material Usage Variance (Life)
* Follow up and review schedule for the following; Daily production date checks, Daily interface/support, Weekly review with Tech
Managers, supervisors and planners, Swab % results, Raw Material Issues, Shelf Life Results, and Product Quality.

Qualification's and Experience:

* Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene
* Level 3 HACCP
* Experience in a QA Role in a food manufacturing environment




Key Skills and Knowledge:

* Microbiology
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, i.e., paperwork
* Must be able to communicate effectively across departments and work well with others
* Good English (written, verbal) and good basic numeracy
* Ability to work in an organized, methodical manner
* Good IT skills
* Ability to understand & apply the requirements stated by line manager of; current applicable food legislation, BRC Global
Standard, and customer codes of practice
* Good analytical abilities
* Able to coach on procedures and process, when non-conformance is identified

Second Chef- Care Home

Hours: 36 hours per week

Salary: £12,81 per hour

Location: Tarporley, Cheshire, CW6 0EG
