Job Description As a Deputy Hospitality Manager your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service.
As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Management: Assist in planning and executing high-end events, including banquets, formal dinners, and exclusive functions.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with chefs to design and deliver nutritious, well-balanced menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining premium quality standards.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a dedicated catering team to deliver outstanding service.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with school Bursars, Head Teachers, and faculty to ensure smooth event execution and ongoing collaboration.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health and safety protocols.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in service delivery, menu offerings, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications - Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within high-end or luxury environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with high-profile clientele.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring every event is executed to the highest standards.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in service.
