Lead/training duties and responsibilities include:

Sr. Manager of Warehouse Systems and Operations - Beverage

The Sr. Manager of Warehouse Systems and Operations is responsible for setting overarching goals for activities within all Niagara’s Warehouse & Yard activities.  This includes support, execution, strategy and deployment across processes, systems technology, Warehouse learning & operations, WMS & ERP systems training, new and existing systematic customer request implementation, factory business processes, factory inventory services and network wide centralization of shipping operations.  The primary mode for implementing these efforts is through services to support good decision-making and training programs.  Warehouse & Yard is a service and execution organization committed to supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain related disciplines by being focused on knowledge transfer, innovation, and communication. The director will also flex resources to focus plants or plants during time of need to support daily operations. Director will support Beverage and Water warehouse operations. Help build capability and bench strength within the operations.  Keeping teams calibrated and focused on the core pillar metrics of safety, quality, process time, inventory, asset management, fill factor, overall efficiency and scrap reduction. Help beverage teams with any customer specific requirements to the warehouse operations to include inventory.

Essential Functions

• Drive ongoing improvements for Key Performance Indicators in our Warehouse and Yard operations.  Including, but not limited to:  Inventory Health, Warehouse Space Utilization, Dock Door Optimization, Truck Total Processing Time, Trailer Turn rate, and similar.
• Provide key operational services around:  Yard Optimization, Shipping Support, Brand Services, Factory & 1PL/3PL Inventory Services, Factory Analytics, and services required to improve factory performance inside the box for metrics identified by internal execution partners.
• Use outputs of services to provide skills and competency training for the factories around:  Inventory Training, Systems Training, Workflow Training, Warehouse Automation Training, Production Systems Training, specialized inventory systems training (parts, non-stock items, etc.), and develop curriculum to support those training needs.
• Provide direction to Plant Warehouse Managers, 1PL Managers, Warehouse Supervisors, Operation Specialist and related roles to maximize their consistent application of known Niagara best practices.  Create routine meetings, metrics and development paths designed to create cohesive alignment among the plant inventory team members.
• Collaborate with multiple development teams to oversee and manage routine technical development activities
• Provide voice of the customer for architectural decisions as well as technical design specifications
• Review system functional & operational needs for projects and identify feasibility cooperating with key stakeholders
• Evaluate existing business processes and recommend feasible changes & continuous improvement opportunities

Beverage Operations Manager (Supply Chain Advisor)

The Beverage Operations Manager (Supply Chain Advisor) supports the department in cultivating and capturing synergies across operations functions within Niagara as we service existing and future business.  This includes driving alignment across the Procurement, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, Transportation, Finance, IT, QA and other operations functions supporting Beverage, with the objective of driving execution and service to our customer base while maximizing cost efficiency.  The Manager will also work closely with Manufacturing, Product Development, Engineering and other teams throughout the Niagara network to ensure coordination between internal departments and customer order fulfilment expectations.

Essential Functions

• Key liaison between manufacturing quality department and customer/sales
• Work with the quality team at HQ and plant to ensure there’s clear process around all quality documentation in line with the customer needs
• Initiate projects to improve service level for customer and reduce production and logistics complexity for Internal teams at Niagara
• Access the financial and operational impacts of new product launches and provide feedback to sales and program management on potential areas of opportunity
• Ensure the increase in complexity for plant operations are captured and budgeted for as new customers or additional requirements/complexity come in.
• Document line capacities and keep it updates as new products are commissioned and capacity added
• Maintain current schedule of rebuilds and retrofits that might impact line capacity or ability
•  Collaborate with the intra-logistics managers to ensure all quality parameters are met in our 3PL network

• Manage the service execution strategy for Niagara’s Beverage Customer base.  This includes driving the overall service vision, strategy and tactics (in collaboration with Niagara’s various operations teams) across our growing customer portfolio.
• Manage customer-specific supply execution plans that meet/exceed relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) set forth in our Beverage Agreements.
• Drive long-term strategies to ensure we meet/exceed our revenue growth goals.
• Manage the operational execution relationships with our customers, coordinating with Niagara’s Beverage Sales team to ensure long-term success.
• Collaborate with customers on their operational KPI/data needs and work internally to Niagara to facilitate and drive alignment and execution with those needs.
• Optimize service, financial, and operational KPI’s by determining how best to improve and streamline customer needs across Niagara’s manufacturing and distribution network.
• Lead in the implementation of system-wide solutions to minimize cost while achieving targeted service levels to customers.
