As the Content & Social Media Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our social media presence, driving exciting and strategic content creation, managing our social channels, and ensuring our brands shine online. In close collaboration with the Marketing team, you will be leading strategic content creation and continuous improvement initiatives from our head office based in Alexandria, NSW 2015.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract maternity leave cover until the end of July 2025.
Your role:
- Strategic Content Creation: Produce and publish static and video content for social media and digital channels. Brief internal/external creatives for multi-channel content creation.
- Social Media Management: Own the organic social media strategy for Marley Spoon and our brands. Manage the social media calendar, content planning, and production processes across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Content Performance Analysis: Analyse social media content performance, generate regular reports, and provide actionable insights to optimise strategies.
- Customer & Brand Communications: Collaborate with the Customer Care team to distribute brand-aligned communications and manage brand reputation across social media and review websites.
- Photo/Video Shoots: Manage or assist on photo/video shoots, including filming smartphone videography for social media assets.
- Process Improvement: Standardise and improve processes for content production and asset management, leveraging AI-powered tools for efficiency.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
- 3+ years in social media management and content creation within a Marketing team or agency. Proven track record in developing and executing successful social media strategies including shooting content using smartphones, with a creative/campaign portfolio of social media work to match
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Later) and managing brand reputation via social media channels and review sites
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Copywriting skills with the ability to apply varied brand tones of voice.
