We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Technician to join our team in Leeds. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a Food Technology and Textiles environment. Although you'll have limited involvement with Product Design (Wood).

Requirements:

• Experience in a Food Technology and Textiles environment.
• Willingness to learn and assist with limited Product Design (Wood) tasks.
• Competency in using basic computer facilities and the internet.
• Basic Maths skills for ordering and inventory management.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for Food Technology and Textiles classes.
• Support teachers and students during practical lessons, ensuring all tools and materials are used safely and effectively.
• Assist with basic maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
• Manage and order supplies, utilising basic Maths skills to track inventory and budget.
• Use basic computer facilities and the internet for ordering and administrative tasks.
