4.00pm)
Location: James Hall & Co. Ltd, SPAR Distribution Centre, Bowland View, Preston, PR2 5QT
Salary: £12.22 - £13.56

About the Role
As the Production Supervisor, your primary goals are to meet daily production targets, ensure timely fulfilment of orders for Spar
RDC, and maintain a safe working environment. To achieve this, optimise workflows, monitor performance, coordinate closely with
the main warehouse, ensure compliance with safety standards, provide support to your team, and continuously seek opportunities for
improvement.
What will I be doing?
As the supervisor overseeing production and warehouse operations, your focus is on ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance
with company standards. Below are key responsibilities:
* Enforce Company Health & Safety Rules and report any issues promptly
* Conduct thorough risk assessments and establish safe systems of work
* Facilitate induction and ongoing training for new team members
* Communicate and train team members on work practices, procedures, and methods
* Conduct regular team communication sessions (team briefs) as needed
* Review and implement Company HACCP processes
* Ensure accurate picking and placement of orders for deliveries
* Maintain sufficient stock levels to meet customer demands
* Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
* Uphold hygiene standards and promote clean-as-you-go policy
* Cultivate effective relationships with relevant departments
* Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes
* Perform warehouse operative duties when required
* Manage and monitor team performance effectively
* Ensure adherence to disciplinary procedures and company policies
* Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
* Supervise and motivate production teams
* Plan staffing levels and create rotas to meet production demands.

With a strong foundation in written and verbal English communication, coupled with intermediate computer skills including
