Job Title: Hospitality Assistant
Location: Clifton College, Bristol
Pay: £11.44 - £12.50 Per Hour
Working Pattern: Full or Part-Time. Flexible working hours.
Requirements: Full Driving Licence to drive to different nearby sites.
As Hospitality Assistant at Clifton College, Bristol, BS8 3JH, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible. As well as this, you work no unsociable hours and get public holidays off… including Christmas!
What you do:
- Day to day assistance of all hospitality operations within the unit
- To liaise with the hospitality manager/supervisor to review scheduled functions and events
- Assist with preparation, setting up of furniture and equipment for the functions and events
- To ensure that the food and beverage service and the function or event is performed at all times in a professional manner and to the style specified by the hospitality manager
- To communicate with the staff in the kitchen and at front of house.
- To ensure that all equipment is efficiently prepared and transported to the event venue and is clean and cleared away after service.
- To report all complaint and concerns to the hospitality manager.
- Making sure hospitality area is clean and tidy at all times
- Work within any area of catering as required.
- Approximately 10 days off at Christmas.
- Due to a reduced level of Hospitality requirements out of term an alternative rota can apply.

- Experience in a similar environment (helpful but not a deal breaker).
