Sous Chef
Location: Epsom
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30
Pay: £15.00/hour

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a passion for great food, positive attitude and a commitment to service excellence to join one of the largest workplace catering providers in the country on a prestige corporate site. With great plans in the pipeline to continuously level up the food offer on site, we are looking for an individual who has the passion and ambition to help realise them.
About the role:
- Consistently deliver new hospitality menu to a high company standard
- Run daily sections alongside kitchen team members
- Responsible to run the day-to-day kitchen operation and deputising in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Responsible for the preparation and presentation of all menu items, to ensure that a high culinary standard is met and that the service is prompt and efficient.
- To make sure specified standards of food handling and storage and stock rotation are practiced.
- Support the Head chef in menu planning, costings and implementation.
- To deliver Team Briefings and identify the training needs of the kitchen and individuals to meet the business needs.
- To Support Head chef in delivering required standard of food, and kitchen operation.
To be successful in this role, we will be looking for a similar experience in a high-volume kitchen, culinary qualifications, strong communication and customer service skills and a good all-round culinary knowledge.
