Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an allocated caseload from referral through to day-to-day maintenance, ensuring compliance with relevant procedures.
• Administer client finances, including claiming benefits and other entitlements, and reconciling bank accounts using Excel spreadsheets.
• Handle weekly diary activities, daily bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and issuing personal allowances via online banking or cheques.

Knowledge and Experience:

To assist with the administration of Court of Protection and Appointee cases on behalf of the nominated Deputy/Appointee for Lincolnshire CC
To be responsible for managing an allocated caseload from new referral through to day to day maintenance referring to the Deputy/Adult Care workers where required for authorisations.
To ensure that all entitlements to benefits and other income is correctly managed and claimed on behalf of the service user, seeking professional advice where appropriate.
To complete the reconciliation and updating of client bank accounts using excel spreadsheets.
To assist with the reconciliation and updating of client accounts including the compilation of annual accounts; ensuring monies are promptly claimed and liabilities paid.
Qualifications:

GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or above
A basic understanding of financial procedures
One year experience of working in a financial environment
