An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established / experienced team of Desktop Support Technicians on a 6 month secondment / fixed term contract, running until 31.03.2025.

The post holders will be a member of the Desktop Support Team providing a customer sensitive and responsive support, fault resolution and advice service, which ensures the maximum availability, performance and utilisation of device management including Desktop PC / Laptop, Wireless Trollies, Digital Dictation devices as well as iOS devices including iPhones, iPods and iPads used by the directorates business and clinical teams.

You will also be required to participate in an out of hours on-call Desktop Support rota.

You will have demonstrable experience in:-
• To provide a customer centric service to all staff. To deliver a professional, polite and empathetic service, building professional relationships with Digital Service, Business and Clinical staff across SaTH.
• To work collaboratively with other teams including the IT Service Desk, Infrastructure / Network Team, Systems Admin, Training Team.
• To support a range of Windows operating systems including Windows 7 and 10.
• To support the deployment and day to day management diagnostics of Office365.
• Build and configuration of Desktop PC’s, Laptops and other end point devices including digital dictation devices and iOS devices i.e. iPhones, iPADs, iPODs etc.
• Undertake incident diagnostics to resolve any technical issues, support projects which require the implementation / deployment of devices.
• Testing and deployment of windows security patches to devices as well as iOS version updates in line with the SaTH Digital Security improvement plan in line with NHSDigital and NHSX.

A full-time job plan is based on a 10 PA working week (not inc on call PAs). The job plan will be reviewed annually and is a prospective agreement that sets out the doctor's duties, responsibilities, and objectives for the coming year. It covers all aspects of a doctor's professional practice including clinical work, teaching, research, education and managerial responsibilities. It will provide a clear schedule of commitments, both internal and external and will include personal objectives, detailing links to wider service improvements and trust strategic priorities.

For a full-time contract, the job plan will be divided on average per week (pro-rata for a part time post) as:

• 9 Programmed Activities (PAs) of Direct Clinical Care (includes 1.3 PAs on call) - includes clinical activity, clinically related activity and predictable and unpredictable emergency work.

• 1 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs) - includes CPD, audit, teaching and research.

• Out of Hours Activity – attracts 1.3 PA’s, is Category A, 1:6 non resident, attracting 4% enhancement.



The allocation of PAs is reviewed and may be subject to adjustment when a further diary exercise is undertaken or if the service demands a review of the team job plan.

• To carry out duties relating to specialist departments, including outside agencies such as Shropdoc.
• To assist the Chargehand Porters with the training and induction of new staff for an initial period until they feel confident to carry out the duties on their own.
• To collect and deliver hostess trolleys and crockery trolleys between the wards and the Catering Department.
• To collect dirty linen and general refuse from all wards and departments disposal cupboards and the accommodation block and dispose of in the compactor located in the loading bay area. Dirty
linen to be loaded into linen cages and placed on the loading bay awaiting collection.
• To circulate mail and clerical data to all wards and departments within the hospital and collect and deliver mail off site.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a rotational basis which will include 24 hour cover including, weekends, nights and bank holidays.

The post holder will ensure that the Portering service is of the highest quality and efficiency and will work within Trust Values.

Purchase Ledger Clerk

Prince Personnel is working with a prestigious Telford business seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary basis for around 2-3 months. They are seeing additional volumes of invoices and so need someone to help out. They are looking for a highly motivated, personable individual who can work in fast paced working environment.

You will be responsible for:
• Inputting purchase invoices onto their system.
• Answering queries with suppliers via email or Teams.
• Data inputting.
• Supplier’s statements.

Skills and Experience
The client is looking for somebody with purchase ledger experience who can hit the ground running. SAP and MS Excel experience would be preferred but training will be provided so isn’t essential.
